20-02-09: One of the world's largest information services Chemical Abstracts (CAS) included our online academic journal "Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics" (ISSN: 1994-6538) in CAS database. Since November, 7th, 2008 the journal is included also in the Russian Index of Scientific Citation.

14-09-08: In the Institute of Mathematical Problems of Biology has spent the second conference in the series of International Conferences on Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics (ICMBB08) in Pushchino, Russia. More info...

07-11-06: The Institute of Mathematical Problems of Biology has spent the first conference in the series of International Conferences on Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics (ICMBB06) in Pushchino, Russia. More info...

26-04-06: The Institute of Mathematical Problems of Biology has established online academic periodical Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics. The URL of the journal is http://www.matbio.org.

01-07-04:In April, 2004 has started the big European project EGEE (Enabling Grids for E-science in Europe). Eight Russian Institutes made up the consortium RDIG (Russian Data Intensive GRID) as a national federation in the EGEE project: IHEP, IMPB RAS, ITEP, JINR, KIAM RAS, PNPI, RRC KI, SINP MSU.
